German Programmer's Keyboard
This is something I made for myself, because the only other implementation of the concept was for Windows 98. In essence, this is an extension of the way the Polish Programmer's keyboard layout does, but to the german alphabet. This means that you can write German diacritics by pressing 'alt gr'+[base letter].
This makes it significantly easier to write in German on a system without a QWERTZ keyboard. In addition, like in the name, it makes it significantly easier to write code.
The installer below should work for Windows 7 and above. (Tested on Windows 10 & 11)
